Those looking to arrange their Christmas party menus could take advantage of a new vegetarian cookbook being offered by the Vegetarian Society.
The Publican website suggests that pubs can also take advantage of the booklet, entitled Saints and Sinners, and provide their vegetarian customers with "new, low fat recipes".
However, the cookbook does not focus solely on the healthy Christmas menus.
The Publican reports that the booklet is split into two halves – one dedicated to those trying to watch their waistlines and the second.
Last year, the Vegetarian Society released a specialist Christmas cookbook which included recipes such as Smoked Bean Curd Medallions with Shiitake and Walnut Stuffing, Sesame Shredded Brussels Sprouts, Cider Glazed Root Vegetables with Cranberries and Black Pepper & Rosemary Hassle-Back Potatoes.
