Snoop Dogg throws women only party

Snoop Dogg threw a party for women only following his performance at the Wireless festival on Saturday.

The US rapper – fresh from his triumphant performance at the Glastonbury festival last month – was back in the UK to perform at the event in Hyde Park.

Snoop made sure to maintain his reputation as a ladies man after the gig by throwing the girls only party at top London venue Merah, where two doormen ensured no male guests were permitted into the exclusive bash.

The party – which boasted some £20,000 worth of Armand de Brignac champagne – saw the hip hop star residing over proceedings in his own room toward the back of the club which was teeming with women.

As well as keeping any males away from Snoop's VIP area, the security staff were scouring the club for more glamorous women to accompany the rapper.

"Security kept their eyes open and if they saw any ladies they thought Snoop would approve of, then invited them in," said a source.

"They were even turning away male staff who were ferrying the champagne his way."
