'Share festive fun with international students'

 Londoners are being urged to invite international students along to their festive celebrations this winter.
As people start to plan Christmas and New Year parties in the city's West End, Host UK is attempting to match up students with British families to stop them feeling lonely. Many international students at British colleges and universities are too far from home to travel back over the festive period and can become particularly lonely while others are celebrating. There are hundreds of international students in London and many will be looking to spend a few days celebrating Christmas in Britain and what better place to show off what the capital has to offer than by taking trip to the West End when the party season is in full swing. Host UK "brings together international students at universities and colleges in the UK with friendly British residents who welcome students to their homes for a short visit". The organisation claims that students gain an experience of British culture, while the student provides British participants will information about another country.
