Consumers can support Cancer research by sending Christmas party invitations and cards online this year. The service is available through ‘Send and Give,’ Cancer Research UK’s alternative eCard website. Through the site, shoppers can customise Christmas party invitations and greetings by using personal photos, messages and Christmas tunes.
While saving money on postage, customers can also make a donation to Cancer Research UK online. The site has several different designs and themes to choose from including contemporary and traditional Christmas party invitations and messages.
Poppy Ahern, online marketing manager at Cancer Research UK, said: "More than one in three people in the UK will develop cancer at some time in their lives. Using Send and Give is a great way to support Cancer Research UK, and gives those who have been touched by cancer an opportunity to celebrate and remember their loved ones at this special time of year. Not only will you be helping Cancer Research UK beat cancer, but by sending your Christmas greetings online, you’ll also be making an invaluable contribution to the environment."
Consumers who wish to send Christmas party invitations and cards the traditional way, Cancer Research UK offers a range of environmentally friendly cards to choose from. They are available from one of Cancer Research UK’s 600 shop locations beginning August 20th.
