Chocolate Week takes place next month, with many of the items that are likely to be popular this Christmas tasted and explained.
Between October 16th and 22nd, the country's chocolate retailers and industry officials will be taking part in an event that is described as "chocolate heaven", reports Europe Travel News.
Consumers and chocolate professionals will be able to take part in tasting sessions and presentations at a number of outlets across the UK.
Harrods, La Maison du Chocolat and Chococo will be holding their own chocolate-related events, in time for the Christmas rush.
This year's Chocolate Week will be overseen by the Academy of Chocolate and Sara Jayne-Stanes, chair of the academy, told Europe Travel News: "If you like chocolate - real chocolate, that is (the intensely dark and exciting sort that floods the taste buds with overtones of spice, fruit and cocoa) - then you will love Chocolate Week.
She adds that the academy will be welcoming some "prestigious partners" at this year's event, with a number of "exciting events" planned for the whole week.
Events during Chocolate Week, which could give consumers ideas for their Christmas parties, include a tasting event at Melt and a factory shop at L'artisan du Chocolat.
