If this year’s New Year’s Eve plans leave much to be desired, consider a road trip. Eurolines is offering its top six destinations for New Year’s Eve trips in Europe. Destinations include Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Dublin, Cologne and Dusseldorf.
Some passengers are choosing a bus as alternative travel this year to avoid delays at airports caused by security checkpoints. Most trips are planned for overnight which allows travelers to sleep during the journey.
Easy Travel online says “Coach travel is not only ultra low cost, it is also very green travel so your carbon footprint will be six times smaller than flying on the same route. That leaves any New Year resolution to do your bit for the planet in tact.”
The coach company offers a trip to Amsterdam from £50 return. The cheapest New Year’s Eve travel ticket from Eurolines is from £44 return to Dublin. Eurolines also provides suggestions on things to do each city and accepts reservations on its website.
