Rows over pay mean there could be a series of strikes by railway workers over the new year period, it has emerged.
Workers at Central Trains are planning a walkout on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, according to the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union.
There are 550 workers reportedly planning on striking during these two days, as well as Christmas Eve, the union indicates.
Rail staff have decided to strike because they feel new rosters have been implemented without overall agreement.
Alan Bevan, of passenger pressure group Rail Future, told the Birmingham Mail: "It is high time both Central Trains and the unions showed some responsibility and concentrated on providing a decent service."
Transport For London has offered a festive travel guide for people planning on using the trains in the UK's capital over Christmas and the new year.
Coaches from Victoria Station will be running a reduced service, while National Rail services will be more akin to a Sunday service.
