A new product to help with hangovers could be of use for those planning to indulge this festive season.
The new product, Windsetlers, aims to stop partygoers worrying about feeling bad the morning after a night of drinking.
Results of a survey by the company indicate that ten per cent of Britons put their health at risk during the Christmas period due to over-indulging on food and drink.
Additionally two-thirds of the nation admitted to eating excessive rich food during the Christmas party season.
Dr Chris Fenn, accredited nutritionist, said: "Digestive problems can be uncomfortable and often quite embarrassing and are much more common over the Christmas period.
"We all want to enjoy ourselves over Christmas so try and identify the foods that cause the problems and keep them to a minimum."
In 2004, Britons topped a Christmas drinking poll from the right-wing Policy Exchange think tank.
