Online dancing star 'a hit with offices'
18/10/2006

Company boardrooms are tuning into online video site YouTube, perhaps gathering Christmas party tips in the process.

Judson Laipply has become the dancing star of the internet, relating to those who have moon walked or walked like an Egyptian at office parties, reports Reuters.

The 30-year-old American says that his newfound fame in the six-minute video Evolution of Dance has boosted his career as a comedian.

"Most people love the Brady Bunch Keep On Keeping On, the Apache, Jump On It, MC Hammer's Hammer Dance. Michael Jackson is always a good crowd pleaser," Mr Laipply said by email.

He added that it is not just the internet where his skills can be showcased, citing companies that have booked him to appear in person.

"I have many more [corporate shows] booked for the future. Companies like Verizon, American Airlines, Herman Miller, Hilton and much more."

YouTube, where Mr Laipply shows off his skills, was bought by search engine Google earlier this month.
