Nigella Lawson could offer some handy tips for those planning the food for December's Christmas parties.
The celebrity chef is currently making her first series for the BBC and three of her programmes will be concentrating on Christmas food, reports the broadcaster.
One of a number of tips Ms Lawson will be offering is how to cook a fool-proof turkey, which could be of interest to anyone supplying festive meals this December.
"I'm absolutely delighted to welcome Nigella to BBC Two," said the channel's controller Roly Keating.
"Nigella is a uniquely talented and distinctive cook," he added.
One programme will follow the chef as she visits a Christmas market in Salzburg, Austria, as the show aims to get viewers into the Christmas spirit.
According to the Independent, Nigella Lawson is one of the few television celebrity chefs to have had an influence on the nation's diets.
