Premium organic chocolate maker Green & Black's is launching a new gift range in time for the Christmas party season.
The Autumn 2007 range has been designed to give the Green & Black’s brand a fresh new look. The organic confectionary company has grown 46% year-on-year in gifting, with even higher growth around the Christmas party season, as well as the Easter period.
Gemma Wookey, Green & Black’s brand manager, says: “Our new range of organic chocolate gift boxes meet the specific needs of our consumers, from stylish dinner party offerings, to an indulgent and unique box of chocolates for someone special. Premium chocolate gifts are in strong year-on-year growth, demonstrating consumer desire for premium gift offerings.”
The Assortment and The Prestige Assortment feature a selection of dark, milk and white chocolates boxed and packaged as a premium chocolate gift offering.
Green and Black’s will be hoping that its new after dinner collections will be shared around at this year’s Christmas party celebrations. The collections include: the After Dinner Mint Chocolate Leaves, a box of dark, milk and white chocolate leaves with mint truffle centres; and The After Dinner Chocolate Squares which comprise a variety of Green & Black’s trademark dark 70%, milk and white chocolate squares all individually wrapped and presented in a gift box.
Green & Black’s is also developing its trademark chocolate bars by introducing The Miniature Bar Collection featuring twelve miniature bars of dark and milk chocolate packaged in an environmentally-friendly share pack. The product is a re-positioning of one introduced last year with new, natural packaging, along with a reduction in display size to help increase retailer shelf space during the busy Christmas party season.
