Those wanting to jet off to sunnier climes for their New Year’s Eve celebrations may want to consider flyMonarch.com. The airline is due to introduce increased services on 18 routes over the busy Christmas and New Year’s Eve periods.
Monarch has chosen the four popular airports at Birmingham, Luton, Gatwick and Manchester to benefit from the additional flights.
Increased services will operate from Birmingham to Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Murcia and Tenerife; Luton to Alicante, Gibraltar, Malaga and Tenerife; Gatwick to Alicante, Faro, Lanzarote, Malaga, Murcia and Tenerife; and Manchester to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife.
The additional flights will operate between December 22 and January 2 to meet the demand for outgoing flights in this period by people who want to celebrate Christmas or New Year’s Eve in a foreign country.
Liz Savage, Monarch’s Managing Director, said: "We have seen overwhelming demand for seats over the festive period and as a result have introduced these extra services meaning even more people can enjoy low fare flights this Christmas and New Year."
