McCartney Hit May Not Sparkle for Christmas
12/10/2007

A recent poll conducted by BBC Radio Six aimed to find out who has the worst and best duets. The results revealed that Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder hit Ebony and Ivory is top of the chart for worst duet. Christmas party hosts may want to turn to alternative tunes for their Christmas party.

The poll sought listeners’ views on song collaborations from the artists they loved and hated. There are some other artists’ music to avoid playing at a Christmas party. McCartney and Michael Jackson as well as Elton John and David Bowie have collaborations on the worst list.

WTOP News reports: “Bowie's hook-up with Mick Jagger on the classic Dancing In the Streets falls in at No. 3 on the worst list, followed by his effort with Bing Crosby on the Christmas tune Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth.”

For Christmas party music that made the Best Duets list, try: Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell You’re All I Need To Get By, Queen & David Bowie Under Pressure and Eminem & Dido’s Stan.
