Kate Moss is star of Beth Ditto’s London launch party

At last night’s launch party for Beth Ditto’s clothing range for Evans, Kate Moss was the real star of the show as she took to the stage to sing with boyfriend Jamie Hince.

Ditto, the lead singer of punk-pop band The Gossip has designed her own range for the plus-size chain owned by retail magnate Sir Phillip Green. Green undoubtedly encouraged Kate to appear at the launch of her friend’s clothing line as wherever Kate Moss, appears, there is bound to be a crowd of paparazzi.

The party was held at London’s Sketch bar and attracted several other big names including Kelly Osborne, Daisy Lowe and Yasmin Le Bon.

Kate Moss was said to have sung at the party, in keeping with her recent habit of taking to the stage at any London party she attends. In fact this habit has become so high profile that her friends have started calling her ‘Karaoke Kate.’

Beth Ditto’s 22-piece clothing range includes shift dresses, patterned leggings and shoes. She is said to have already turned down the chance to design for Topshop after rejecting their limited sizing policy.
