James Bond's car named UK's coolest brand

If you are attending a James Bond themed party this Christmas, you can be sure you will be in ‘cool’ company after the legendary spy’s car, the Aston Martin, has been voted UK’s coolest brand.

This is the fourth year in five that the English car brand has won the accolade of ‘coolest brand’ in the annual CoolBrands council. The council was established to recognised and reward emerging technologies and brilliant new design in the UK. However, it seems this classic car brand is still seen as the coolest among the cutting edge designers of today.

Stephen Cheliotis of CoolBrands explained, "Aston Martin combines three key elements – power, beauty and soul." And obviously its link with 007 himself also help to win the brand more kudos among the designers and car fanatics.

Cheliotis added, "Its sleek, polished and sexy cars ensure the brand continues to dominate the list of the nation’s coolest brands, as judged by experts and consumers alike."

A James Bond theme for a Christmas party is one of the most popular, reflecting the glamour and style of the classic Aston Martin DB5 that was driven by the early James Bonds.
