A pint-sized Hollyoaks actor is already earmarking the role of
James Bond for himself.
Ellis Hollins, who has played the soap's Tom Cunningham since he was born in 1999, has admitted he would "definitely" like to portray the spy who inspires office party themes around the globe.
Asked by the Press Association whether he would fancy starring in another soap in the future, he answered: "Not really a soap, but a film - 007".
Moving on from the subject of the British spy, the nine-year-old revealed he would settle for being in Hollyoaks "for a long time, as long as I can be in it for".
The actor's
James Bond revelation - which comes in the same week he lost out on the Best Young Actor gong at the Inside Soap Awards - follows similar ambitions expressed by rock band Muse.
Drummer Dom Howard told the BBC last month that the trio would like to follow in the footsteps of
Madonna by recording the theme tune for the follow-up film to latest
James Bond feature Quantum of Solace.
"Certainly some of our music fits with the
James Bond vibe - and I think it could work," he concluded.
