James Bond fans compete for 007 party sets

Some 007-themed barware could be just the thing to light up a James Bond party, so that's exactly what the film aficionados at fan site MI6 are giving away for free as part of their latest competition in honour of the big-screen spy.

According to MI6, the 007 production team and James Bond himself - actor Daniel Craig - had final approval on the design and quality of the barware, glassware and cocktail sets.

Martin Butler, managing director of creators Groovy UK, says his team wanted the sets to be a classic crystal that Bond himself would be proud to drink from - and they have the 007 trademark etched into the glass.

"The quality, design and presentation on the limited ranges embodies everything James Bond represents - intelligence, sophistication and confidence," he added.

Up for grabs on the MI6 site are a limited edition James Bond decanter set, a pair of signature 007 whisky glasses and a pack of two James Bond shot glasses.

Bond fans keen on getting their hands on one of the prizes just have to tell the site - before 6th November - which cocktail garnish was served with James Bond's first vodka martini in Dr No.
