James Bond Christmas parties make festive season sizzle
September 10, 2009

A themed Christmas party based on a casino night, a James Bond movie or even a beach party is still a top choice for any employees "worth their salt", it has been claimed.

Party-planning experts in Ireland say it may only be September, but offices around the UK should be getting ahead and organising their festive bashes.

"It's not just the staff who need to start planning," note the team at Dundalk's Argus newspaper.

"If you are a boss who wants to show his or her staff just how much they are worth, then get cracking because all the best venues will be soon snapped up."

As well as the James Bond and casino themes, the team single out a night at the dogs or the horses so everyone can relax, have a few drinks "and maybe even win some money".

Saving on taxi costs by hiring a party limo is also suggested, bearing in mind that "getting a cab on certain Saturday nights in December" can be almost impossible.

Earlier this month, a Christmas party night was held in a Scottish hotel to give Dunfermline businesses the chance to try the venue before booking their Yuletide office party.
