As the Christmas party season approaches, singer Michael Jackson has announced that he is to make a personal appearance at a festive celebration in Japan.
Not performing, Jackson will watch others showcase their singing talent, while holding meet and greet sessions with those who have platinum tickets to the occasion.
Tickets for the event, which takes place in the country's capital Tokyo, cost 400,000 yen or 200,000 yen, with the price difference accounting for platinum guests.
The Tokyo show is running on December 19th and will involve bands, dancers and gospel singers performing their acts.
The US singer, famous for hits such as Thriller, Bad and Dangerous, recently sang at the World Music Awards at Earls Court in London.
Partygoers in London should be aware that there are now 31 shopping days until Christmas Day, leaving less than five weeks to plan a festive party.
