International Sweets Debut For UK Christmas Parties

Hostess and restaurateurs looking for something different to serve at a Christmas Party this year can get some ideas from down under at London’s Specialty Fine Food Fair at London Olympia. Pudding Lane is set to unveil the new Macadamia and Brandy Pudding, a traditional Christmas Party pudding, and a Date and Toffee Log.
Pudding Lane owner Michael Puddings says “Our puddings are made individually by hand, using only the finest, freshest ingredients.” Christmas party hostesses and chefs can sample the desserts at the Specialty Fine Food Fair September 2-4. Puddings says “This approach has proved very successful in Australia – we hand-made 60 tons last year, which will rise to 70 tons this year and 80 tons in 2008 – and we think they will prove popular in the UK as well.” Pudding Lane is also searching for UK companies which would like to sample the products for retail. “We are looking for retailers who value exceptional quality and tradition to partner up with and help us move into the UK market.” Located in London, at the heart of Britian’s finest food and drink, the Specialty and Fine Food Fair returns to Olympia, offering an environment designed to discover specialties for a Christmas Party menu.
