Hubby late home from Christmas party? Don't panic, says author
August 4, 2010

Rather dubious advice has been handed out by author Holly Hill, who is flying the flag for 'managed adultery,' - encouraging women to allow their man to stray, but on a pre-arranged basis.

“A woman that negotiates infidelity with her partner is far more powerful than a woman who is sitting home wondering why he's late from the office Christmas party,” says Ms Hill, adding that “It's better to walk the dog on a leash than let it escape through an unseen hole in the back fence.”

Ms Hill also says that being upfront about outsourcing intimacy seems considerably less cruel than condemning one partner to either lying or going without a very basic human need.

The author, who has also written a book, called Sugarbabe, about being a mistress for hire for a year, also advises that couples need to work out their own fidelity deal breakers because what will count as crossing the line for one person will be acceptable to another.

“I think that cheating men are normal,” Ms Hill goes on to explain. “Monogamous men are heroes. Monogamy does have a place in relationships, but not in the long-term. Men are hard-wired to betray women in the long-term,” she added.
