A hotel in Dunfermline, Scotland, is holding a special Christmas party night in September to give local businesses the chance to try out the venue before booking their office Christmas party.
In a bizarre bid to keep ahead of its competitors this Christmas, the North Queensferry hotel is hosting the Christmas-themed nighton Friday 4 September. The party will be complete with turkey dinner, crackers, decorations and disco playing Christmas hits.
The late summer event is already proving popular with local companies, according to Stuart Grant, the hotel’s manager. “Our phones have been ringing quite a lot in the past few weeks with regards to it - we're very confident it will be a good night. We've got about 45 booked for it at the last count.”
Grant says it is important that Christmas party venues start to think about promoting to local businesses early. He says that it’s helpful to give them an impression of what they will get for their money before they commit to booking in large numbers.
Locals can also enjoy an August bank holiday BBQ at the hotel on Sunday 30 August – just four days before the Christmas party!
