Get planning that Christmas party!

Hopefully everyone will have an invite to a fabulous office Christmas party this year. The worst of the recession is behind us and the message from the government is loud and clear – Spend! Spend! Spend!

With this in mind, surely it's now time to start thinking about fun party ideas.

Themed Christmas parties are always the best. Glamorous themes like James Bond or Murder Mystery will give everyone a great chance to dress up in their finery. Karaoke is also always a welcome addition to any party, particularly those with musical themes like Abba or Queen, which just cry out for everyone to come in their best spangly 70s gear!

Obviously cocktails are always a safe bet, as is a spectacular ballroom setting to make guests feel truly spoiled. West End Events have just announced dates for their new Winter Wonderland Christmas Ball at the Grand Connaught Rooms - Thursday December 16th and Friday, December 17th.

The spectacular palatial Ballroom of the Grand Connaught Rooms is transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland scene with stunning ice blue lighting and a moving projection of white snowflake images lighting up the room.

If you’re organizing a small party at home, consider asking everyone to bring their favourite Christmas song or their favourite decoration. This way all the guests will get involved and help to set the scene for the party.

Laying on a Christmas feast is a must of course – just make sure you’ve got plenty of food and drink in, including soft drinks for the designated drivers!
