Jack White and Alicia Keys' new Bond theme has been broadcast for the first time, much to the displeasure of Oasis band member Noel Gallagher, who is not happy that the song has been recorded by American artists.
'Another Way To Die' debuted on Jo Whiley's Radio 1 show this week, and Gallagher told NME: "It's a p***take that the greatest British agent of all time has to be soundtracked by a bunch of f***ing Americans.
"I've written a couple of theme tunes. They haven't got very Bond-esque titles, so I would have to tailor the title accordingly. The latest one that I wrote, I listened back to it thinking, ''F***ing hell, man! That'd make a f***ing great Bond theme'."
The song will feature in the new
James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, which will open in UK cinemas on October 31.
Although there were rumours that Amy Winehouse was to sing the Bond theme song, White and Keys were confirmed as the choices in July.
The pair join a long list of famous musicians that have recorded a
James Bond theme song, including Sir Paul McCartney
Madonna, Shirley Bassey, and Duran Duran.
