New Year's Eve partygoers in London will be able to get home easily and safely following the announcement of free travel on December 31st.
Train and bus journeys in the capital, between 11:45 and 04:30 GMT, will be free of charge, giving New Year's Eve party people a simpler route home, according to the mayor Ken Livingstone.
The move to install free transport, which is sponsored this year by NatWest Bank, follows the success of last year's initiative.
Peter Hendy, transport commissioner, said: "I'm pleased to say that people spending New Year's Eve in the capital will be able to celebrate into the night, with the Tube, DLR, buses, trams and some National Rail routes running all night to get them safely home.
"Tens of thousands of passengers throughout the city will also benefit from free travel at the busiest times, thanks to the mayor and NatWest."
Mayor Livingstone also suggested that London is one of the best places to celebrate New Year's Eve.
The Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan tube lines will be provided with new air-conditioned trains within the next three years, Mr Hendy announced this week.
