Footballers kept out of VIP London party scene by Beyoncé

The usual crowd of professional footballers and their WAGs who turned up at the Movida nightclub in London last week were disappointed to be turned away from the club’s VIP area. The roped off area had been taken over by none other than R&B singer Beyoncé, sister Solange and hubby Jay-Z.

Beyoncé’s crowd sampled the London party scene while the songstress was in the capital as part of her global tour. She and hip-hop star Jay-Z spent thousands on Cristal champagne and Belvedere vodka for themselves and their friends, leaving the usual football players out in the cold.

A source was cited in the Daily Mail as saying, “Beyoncé and Jay-Z had the top table...Their security team was on strict orders, and none of the footballers or their mates got anywhere near them.”

According to Marie Claire magazine, an onlookers stated, “the couple are normally fairly private, but were being very tactile and ignoring the rest of their group. Beyoncé was singing along to Jay’s tune with him filling in the rapping parts.”

Despite her A-list entourage, Beyoncé stole the show with her huge shoulder-padded Balmain jacket, denim leggings and silver peep-toe heels.
