In addition to organising the office Christmas party, the UK's workers are being urged to consider planning for the festive season early.
The Mirror encourages residents of the UK to start planning early to ensure that they have a happy Christmas.
Additionally, calendars should be updated to ensure the traditional festive events, such as office Christmas parties, nativity plays and carol concerts, do not get overlooked or double booked.
"Christmas is very stressful," said Neil Shah, director of the Stress Management Society.
"It's hardly surprising most of us get completely wrapped up in trying to make Christmas perfect."
He added that people should not lose sight of what is important at this time of year and should try not to worry when making their preparations.
Last month, the Mirror suggested no-present pacts as a way to avoid spending too much during the festive period.
