Competition launched for partygoers

 Londoners who "want to stand out and shine at the ball this party season" have been advised to enter a new competition.
A collaboration between News Shopper and fashion house Jaques Vert has given consumers the opportunity to win clothes vouchers, which could be put towards a New Year's Eve outfit, reports the Barnet & Potters Bar Times. Competition winners will be able to choose from the midnight blue range, a collection that is ideal for the forthcoming party season, the newspaper suggests. Jaques Vert also offers elegant accessories, tops with skirts and "flattering dresses" which could be utilised for numerous parties during the festive period. First prize is a £300 gift voucher to be spent at the Jaques Vert store at the Bluewater shopping centre, while the runner-up will gain vouchers worth £200. Potential partygoers need to answer the question "Name one of Jaques Vert's colours this season" and can submit entries via the Barnet & Potters Bar Times. This week, Gap and Roland Mouret launched a range of clothes in collaboration, which could provide New Year's Eve partygoers with further ideas for attire.
