Details of this year's London Mums Christmas party have been unveiled by representatives for "edutainment" centre Eddie Catz.
Taking place in Putney on 20th November, the Christmas party will feature "entertainer to the stars" Amanda Frohlich, a festive meal, mulled wine and face-painting.
Monica Costa, the founder of support group London Mums, said kids who visit the Christmas party will have the chance to meet Santa in his grotto, get a free gift and feature in some free photo sessions.
"Our London Mums parties have become regular gatherings for our members from across London, and real opportunities for mums to enjoy the benefits of face-to-face meetings in a very pleasant environment," she added to In2town magazine.
The event is not the only Christmas bash to be announced recently, with research by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development proving that the recession has not put organisations off throwing their usual yuletide party.
One set of cash-conscious Christmas party planners in Northamptonshire arranged a special 1p offer with the downturn in mind, however.
Representatives for Corby's Holiday Inn described their economical three-course meal and entertainment package as "the Christmas present of the year".
