A host of festive markets are set to open in Europe and around the world, offering opportunities to bring back food and drink to share at the office Christmas party.
The German Christmas market in New Delhi will take place on December 9th and 10th, with decorations to be put up by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, according to the Independent.
While selling "foaming steins, sausages and nibbles" and beer, the market borders and contrasts with the nearby Khan and Sharojni Nagar markets.
Mulled wine and beer, grilled sausages, marzipan sweets and gingerbreads will fill the stalls alongside handmade gifts and decorations.
Meanwhile, in the French city of Strasbourg between November 25th and December 31st is the Christkindl, France's largest market.
Barcelona will celebrate the festive season with its Fercia de Santa Lucia, held in the open air and adjacent to Las Ramblas.
Closer to home are the Frankfurt market in Birmingham city centre and the Christmas Village in Manchester which incorporates the traditional German Market, the European Market and the Arts and Crafts Market, both to be held from December 16th to 20th.
