The annual Christmas Cheer party in Mumbles, Wales, is open to nominated youngsters who have battled illness, tragedy or adversity and are felt to be deserving of an extra Christmas treat.
Organised by the Evening Post and Sainsbury's, the party will be held in Sainsbury's Quay Parade store on Sunday 28 November and will give children an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and Bumbles of Mumbles characters.
Dooley the Dragon, hero Dearlo and his girlfriend, Lillypop, will be there to meet and greet the children.
Bumbles of Mumbles creator, Alex Frith said, “We will be there again to meet all the children.
“I love the Christmas Cheer Party and putting a smile on the children's faces — I would never miss it for the world, it is a wonderful event,” she added.
Alex is also currently working on the Bumbles of Mumbles Children's Christmas Spectacular, which takes place at the Grand Theatre on 3 and 4 December.
Alex said, “We always have a special performance of the children's spectacular on Thursday, 2 December, for children with disabilities, we hope to invite some people from the party to the evening as well.”
