Exactly two months before New Year's Eve, millions of people across the world will be celebrating the Celtic New Year tonight, otherwise known as Halloween.
October 31st is Celtic New Year's Eve and many people will be dressing up in ghost-like costumes to mark the occasion.
Celebrations for Christmas and the new year are currently being planned by many of the nation's party-lovers and Halloween may give them the chance to get into the party mood.
An African taxi driver from the US told the Seattle Post Intelligencer that tonight is very much like New Year's Eve, regarding how busy he will be at work.
However, the taxi driver states that people tend to be ruder on Halloween night than they are during New Year's Eve, which is traditionally celebrated in good spirits.
"It's an American holiday," the driver told the newspaper.
"We don't have anything like it where I'm from. If I wasn't working, I'd like it. I'd get dressed up and go to a party."
However, Halloween is celebrated across the UK too, with many children planning to go trick-or-treating around their neighbourhoods and a number of spooky-themed nights out in university towns and cities planned.
