The New Year's Day Parade in London on January 1st will be led by the Fort Myers High School Marching Band, with input from England.
Two Londoners, Lucy Hilton and Vincent Yong, have won a competition to join the US band in Florida for two months, in preparation for the New Year's Day performance.
Ms Hilton and Mr Yong proved successful in the competition which was run by the organisers of the parade in association with BBC London.
The parade is celebrating its 21st anniversary in 2007 and over 10,000 musicians will take part in the festivities.
Bob Bone, executive director of the New Year's Day Parade, said: "Lucy and Vincent were worthy winners and will do us proud in Florida.
"A warm welcome awaits them – the people of Fort Myers are among the most hospitable that you could ever imagine and they have been incredibly supportive."
The New Year's Day Parade route takes in a number of London's famous landmarks as it moves from Green Park to Westminster.
