The band that sang Last Christmas, a traditional song at festive parties, is thinking of reforming, it has emerged.
A total of 20 years after they first split Wham! is considering playing a special reunion gig at London's Wembley Arena this Christmas, the Sunday Mirror reports.
George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley are reportedly in talks to play the one-off gig, with backing singers Pepsi and Shirlie also in line to return to the fold.
The band became famous in the 1980s following songs such as Club Tropicana, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and the aforementioned Christmas number.
A friend of the band told the Sunday Mirror: "George is thrilled that Andrew's agreed to perform.
"It was something George had thought about for a long time. He couldn't be happier and can't wait for the gig."
Since Wham! split up, George Michael has undertaken a solo career, producing hit songs such as Freedom and Outside.
