Hamilton Park Racecourse in Scotland held a Summer Office Party Night on 25 June to mark Andy Murray’s attempt to win Wimbledon.
The evening started at 7pm with a six-race card and a total prize fund of £40,500 to be won. Before the party, organiser, Vivien Kyles, said, “We’ve got dancing, music and some quality racing on the cards, so racegoers had better hurry as there are just a few remaining places available for people who want to take advantage of the Summer Office Party Night package, and have a party to remember.”
The first race was a Wimbledon tennis themed race called the ‘Support Andy Murray Lady Amateur Riders’ Handicap Stakes.’
The event kicked off a lively summer season of parties for corporate customers and race-goers, including a family night which includes live performances form X Factor stars, Diana Vickers, Ruth Lorenzo and JLS on 11 July.
Hamilton Park also hosted a Spring Office Party Night in May which included an evening of racing and a choice of package including DJs and karaoke. Other options include an upfront fee for a bet, a drink, a burger and a race.
