British actor Robert Pattinson sang
Abba songs during a karaoke-based bonding session with Wolverine star Hugh Jackman, it has emerged.
The pair, who feature together in upcoming release Unbound Captives, competed earlier this year to see who was best at belting out a selection of the Swedish group's classic tracks.
Twilight actor Pattinson explained to the Sydney Morning Herald that the
Abba session took place in Japan.
"We were singing
Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an
Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing," the 23-year-old quipped.
"I think he won, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He's a cool guy and I'm really looking forward to that film," he added.
Before being defeated in the
Abba sing-off, Pattinson had displayed his musical prowess on the soundtrack to Twilight, the first big-screen adaptation of a series of vampire romance novels.
"It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem," he told the newspaper.
"You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack. But I didn't look cool, I just looked ridiculous."
