New product aims to solve Christmas party footwear problem
14/10/2008

The Christmas party season is looming, and a new product aims to make the process less painful for ladies. The Kiwi Smiling Feet brand is marketing a range of transparent gel cushions for ladies to slip inside their Christmas party shoes.

The company claims their products have been specially developed to target the main pressure points on the feet, so that customers can enjoy wearing their Christmas party shoes without compromising comfort and style.

Fashion pundits are tipping stylish ankle-skimmers and over-the-knee statement boots as the footwear to be seen in this Christmas party season. If their predictions are correct, there could well be a demand for shoe accessories that promote comfort.

The Kiwi Smiling Feet product range includes a ball of foot cushions (£3.29 rrp), to help prevent the burning pain associated with high heels. The company also sells heel liners, cushions for the heels, and cushions for in between the toes (for toe post sandals).

Kiwi Smiling Feet claims that nearly half (48%) of women admit to kicking off their Christmas party shoes and walking home barefoot, even though pavements are often littered with chewing gum, broken glass and cigarette butts.
